Re-Opening of the Public Housing One-Bedroom Waiting List and Online Property-Specific Application Process

The Housing Authority of the City of Austin reopened its Public Housing One-Bedroom waiting list effective July 20, 2016.  The waiting lists for all other bedroom sizes (two, three, four, and five bedrooms) are currently open and will remain open until further notice. Individuals interested in applying for public housing may visit www.austin.apply4housing.com to submit a pre-application.  Paper pre-application forms are no longer accepted.

Additionally, applicants may now choose which HACA public housing property/properties they wish to apply for. For more information about HACA’s 18 public housing properties, please visit www.hacanet.org/communities.
