HACA Staff, Residents & Commissioners Earn Prestigious Housing Industry Awards

HACA is pleased to announce the receipt of eight awards from the Texas Chapter of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (TX NAHRO) for its service and publications.

These individuals were recognized for their exceptional accomplishments and commitment:

• Commissioner of the Year: Edwina Carrington
• Management Person of the Year: Suzanne Schwertner, AAHC Project Development Manager
• Executive of the Year: Thomas Cherian, Vice President and CFO
• Resident of the Year: Bill Alexander, North Loop Apartments
• Scholarship Winners: Ndabitezimana "Sophie" Asifiwe, Santa Rita & Yousef Yournes, Bouldin Oaks

HACA received two awards in other key areas:
